Advertising on Amazon
Amazon Sponsored Products
Sponsored Products is a cost-per-click advertising solution that enables you to promote the products you sell with ads that may appear in highly visible placements on Amazon.
You select your products to advertise and choose keywords or product attributes to target, or let Amazon’s systems target relevant keywords automatically. You control how much you want to spend on your bids and budgets and can measure your ads’ performance.
The ads serve both on desktop and mobile browsers as well as on the Amazon mobile app. When customers click your ad, they’re taken to the advertised product’s detail page.
Amazon will only display your product ads when your product is the featured offer at the time the customer views the ad.
Amazon Sponsored Brands
Sponsored Brands campaigns help customers discover and engage with your brand in prominent search placements, and generate awareness and consideration with customizable ads that link directly to a landing page or a Store.
Sponsored Brands ads feature your brand logo, a custom headline, and up to three of your products. These ads appear in multiple locations on desktop and mobile pages, including above search results. When Amazon shoppers click your brand logo, they go to a Store or a simple landing page. Amazon vendors also have the option to direct shoppers to a custom landing page. When shoppers click a product, they go to the product detail page.
You also have the option to use a video ad to feature a single product with a video, as well as the product image and title. Video ads are eligible for mobile and desktop placements in search results. When Amazon shoppers click your video, they go to the product detail page.
These ads are cost-per-click, so you only pay when an Amazon shopper clicks your ad. You control how much you spend by setting your budget and choosing how much to bid per click.
Amazon Sponsored Display
Sponsored Display enables you to reach relevant audiences browsing both on and off Amazon.
Sponsored Display campaigns use auto-generated display creatives that help inspire purchase and have the familiar Amazon look and feel. Based on the targeting options you select, your ads can run on Amazon desktop and mobile, both on detail pages and across other Amazon pages. Your ads can be configured to reach audiences off Amazon across third-party publishers. We use brand safety tools to help deliver your ads to trustworthy placements next to appropriate and relevant content. When shoppers click your ads, they are directed to the product detail page.
Sponsored Display ads are paused when items go out of stock. Once the item is back in stock, the campaign will go back to a running state, as long as this happens within the set campaign flight. There could be a delay of (generally) up to four hours for this to happen.
Sponsored Display is available to Amazon vendors and Amazon sellers who are registered brand owners.

How do you ensure product sales on Amazon.com?
This is a very common question for most online retailers today since Amazon is the biggest marketplace in the world and the competition for seller is intense. There are many strategies that we implement for business success on Amazon but choosing the right marketing strategy is essential. Here are some of the proven methods that we consider to ensure that our client’s succeed in this competitive market space.
1) Target Audience Identification and Segmentation
It’s important for sellers to identify who is buying the product. Is the audience mostly mothers? Are people buying this item for outdoor purposes? Knowing their target audience will give you a hint on where to advertise your product. Once you know who the buyers are, segmentation comes into play. You can filter out potential customers that don’t fit your business requirements through customizable filters to maximize sales conversion.
2) Amazon Product Listing Optimization
The way you list down your products plays an important role in increasing sales. With all of the millions of online sellers, it is essential that you make your listings stand out against competitors who sell similar items as yours. This includes creating compelling descriptions and titles that may encourage shoppers to click on them. Another great idea is including search keywords in your listings so shoppers that search for related items will be able to find you.
3) Amazon SEO Strategies
Search engine optimization is not just limited to Google and other major search engines websites. An Amazon SEO strategy is an excellent way to market your products on one of the biggest e-commerce sites in the world. Implementing essential keywords before you start selling can make a huge difference, especially if they are used correctly like targeting popular keywords like “buy” or “best”.
4) Amazon Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising
For those who want immediate results for their hard earned money, Amazon PPC (pay per click) advertising may be the best option. This method allows sellers to display ads on relevant searches that real time against competitors listings. That way, you can make sure that your products are always visible on Amazon.
5) Amazon Display Ads
If the majority of your audience is not searching for specific keywords then display ads may be a good option to consider since it doesn’t rely on any search terms. It’s a cost-effective way to promote your products in front of potential customers with targeted demographics and an interest related to your product. Display ads provide the advantage of reaching a bigger audience at a lower price compared to Google Adwords or Facebook Ads.it. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
